Sprawling over a wide area of about 430 sq km in the
Brahmaputra Valley , is the home for the great Indian one-horned Rhinoceros. Covered with lush green forests, tall grasses
, marshes and pool it also hosts a variety of other wildlife.
Wildlife to be seen :-
Rhinoceros, Elephant, Indian bison , Buffalo , Swamp Deer, Sambar, Hog Deer, Sloth Bear, Tiger, Leopard cat , Jungle cat ,
Hog Badger, Capped Langur, Hoolock Gibbon, Jackel, Pelicans and different species of local and migratory birds.
How
to get there :-
Kaziranga is 217 kms from Guwahati and 96 km from Jorhat by road. The nearest airport
is Rowriah(Jorhat) . Tourist can fly to Jorhat or can go by car and bus to Kaziranga from Guwahati. The nearest rail head
is Furkating.
Conducted tour:- We, Kaziranga Safari conduct package tours to Kaziranga
every Saturday and Sunday. We also organise special tours on tourist's request. Our package tour includes vehicle, accomodation,
elephant ride ,guide and many more.
Park visit :- By jeep, car or on Elephant back.

winter and light cotton in summer.
